Nertz Scorekeeper
The short version: nothing leaves your phone. Nertz Scorekeeper has no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising, and no internet permission. It cannot send your data anywhere.
What the app stores, and where
- Player names you enter, and the color assigned to each.
- Games — round scores, who called Nertz, winners, and how long games took.
- Your settings — winning score, theme, sounds and haptics.
All of it is kept only in the app's private storage on your device.
What the app collects
Nothing. We (Apsinthion) receive no personal or usage data of any kind. There are no third-party SDKs, analytics, crash reporters or ads in the app.
Permissions
- Vibrate — for optional haptic feedback.
- Camera — optional; used only to scan a QR Transfer code (below), and only while that screen is open. Camera frames are decoded on the device and are never saved, recorded or sent anywhere.
The app does not request location, contacts, microphone, storage or network access.
QR Transfer between your phones
QR Transfer copies your players and finished games from one phone to another: one phone shows a QR code on its screen and the other reads it with its camera. The data passes only through the screen and the camera — there is no network, server or account involved, and we never see it. Settings and any game in progress are not transferred.
Device backups
If you have Android's own device backup turned on, Android may include this app's data in your personal Google backup, as it does for most apps. That backup is controlled by you and Google; we never have access to it.
Deleting your data
Remove players on the Players screen, clear game history in Settings, or uninstall the app to remove everything it stored.
Children
The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
